Ancient Stone Idol Found Floating in Sand Water in G

On October 25, 2023, an ancient stone idol was found floating in sand and water in Gomti river at Udaipur Dasami Ghat.Through local people and police. 

Tripura's Gomati District administration informed that the recovered statue has been taken to the police station. The Statue recovered Nothing special has been reported about.

A total of two idols of Hindu deities Lord Vishnu and Goddess Santoshi were recovered in Udaipur sub division last year. 

In this Sub-division Rabindra temple excavation about after 2.5 months 250- 300 years old sandstone idols have been recovered. 

Moreover, in this Sub-division the city has the Mata Tripureswari Temple built by Maha Raja Dhannyamanikya Bahadur.

The name of this temple is spread all over the world. Even from abroad, daily devotees flock to the temple. Every year during Sharadiya Durga Puja wall fair is held. 

Later in the funeral, the funeral department will consider and research how old the idol is and which Hindu goddess the idol will be identified as.
